Shruthi Kadiyala

Apprentice Teacher, Toddlers

Shruthi was born in India and grew up while living in 6 different cities and 3 countries. This diverse experience has enriched her outlook and ability to adapt to many new situations. She finds that working with young children is full of surprises!

Shruthi completed the Early Childhood Development certificate coursework at Durham Technical College in May 2021. She has been working with children–growing and learning alongside them–since that time. Shruthi became intrigued by the Reggio Emilia teaching philosophy and began volunteering at Wildflower Cottage in Fall 2023. She has spent time in all three classrooms and finds joy in each developmental stage.

In her free time, Shruthi enjoys music, playing the piano, listening to music, and reading.
