Megan Mauriello
Sometimes Teacher
Megan grew up in the Chapel Hill/Hillsborough area. Some of her fondest childhood memories involve playing with friends in the nearby creek, creating art or videos, and using her imagination in all sorts of ways!
Megan became an aunt when she was only 4 years old. Since then, she has found a special place in her heart for being with groups of children. She has helped with Vacation Bible School at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (our next-door neighbors who provided Wildflower with temporary space from 2017-2022). She has pursued related coursework in Special Education, Psychology, Recreation Therapy, and Human Well-being.
Megan believes Wildflower would be a great place for her to continue growing alongside children while serving our community. She is looking forward to learning more about the Reggio Emilia approach.
In her free time, Megan enjoys cooking, reading ambitious recipes, pursuing fitness, and working on her own art pieces.
“You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”
