Caton Cobb

Caton is from Roxboro, North Carolina. She graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Child Development (with a focus in Pre-K/Kindergarten and a minor in Communication Sciences and Disorders). At Appalachian, she was intrigued by the Reggio Emilia approach and all of its uniqueness. Caton joined Wildflower in 2020.

Caton has worked with children in a variety of settings-as a gymnastics coach, summer camp counselor, and a full-time teacher with all ages at Wildflower Cottage. Children have always been her passion because of their curiosity with the world around them and their incredible imaginations! Caton’s core belief is that children are competent and capable. As educators, it is our job to create an environment that supports this belief and gives children many opportunities to learn independence.

In her free time, Caton enjoys exploring nature photography, drawing, painting, and spending time with friends and family.
