Alisa Hayes

Alisa was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina. She graduated from Queens University of Charlotte with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Health Services and minors in Elementary Education and Business Administration. Alisa has lived in Charlotte on and off since college, but always seems to find her way back home! She is currently close to completing her AAS degree in Early Childhood Education from Durham Technical Community College.

Alisa has always loved working with children. Even during her own childhood, she was the one who was always asking to hold and play with every baby at the event. Alisa brings over a decade of professional experience working with children, and she still finds joy in watching them navigate the new world around them. She depends on the fact that children can help adults to see the small things that they may otherwise miss. She believes every child is worthy of genuine love, support, and opportunities to become their best selves.

In her free time, Alisa enjoys photography and swimming.

Fun Facts:

• Alisa has four kidneys. She was not born with four kidneys, but was the blessed recipient of new kidneys at the ages of 15 and 23.
• Alisa will never turn down a good nap!
